Writing in a paper journal - with a proper fountain pen - has been a constant throughout my life, and always a great pleasure. I find that my train of thought slows down when I go analog; on a computer keyboard, ideas can come out too fast. Plus, seeing the ink still wet on paper and watching it dry gives me perspective. Now, a bigger question in my life at this stage is: what am I going to do with all those journals! Thankfully they are, for the most part, recyclable. I'll have to start dealing with that at some point.
